West Hartford Leisure Providers is as soon as once more providing Yoga within the Parks by way of a collaboration with West Hartford Yoga.

Free outside yoga has been a well-liked summer season exercise in West Hartford for a few years, and the collaboration between West Hartford Yoga and the city’s Division of Leisure Providers has returned for 2022.

“Be a part of our WHY instructors at Eisenhower Park, Beachland Park, and Wolcott Park when you join with nature, enhance your well being, improve your vitality, and chill out amongst fellow yogis,” states an electronic mail from West Hartford Yoga.

The all-levels lessons embody yoga postures, breath work, and meditation – and supply the chance for members to attach with nature and chill out and regroup in a good looking setting.

Courses started in late June, and are held at Beachland, Eisenhower, and Wolcott parks.

The hour-long lessons are open to folks of all ranges and led by licensed instructors from WHY. The Thursday classes, that are half-hour, are particularly oriented for households and kids.

Members ought to carry a yoga mat, towel, and water.

The schedule of lessons and instructors is as follows:

  • Sunday, 9 a.m. at Beachland Park, with Rachel Inexperienced or Katie Redman
  • Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. at Eisenhower Park with Brittney Seltzer
  • Thursday, 10 a.m. at Wolcott Park with Becca Barnard

Though free to attend, members are requested to pre-register for the category in order that instructors understand how many individuals to count on, and registration (click on right here) opens 14 days earlier than the category date.

Courses are freed from cost, however donations can be accepted.
